I had such a fun day with my family, I just love get togethers like that because it doesnt happen too often. I had one of my family members at my house this week and weekend which was great but then yesterday I got to see every more family. Oh yes and the best part of the whole day was all of the yummy healthy food!! Usually families make a little of unhealthy food for the holiday but my family made vege burgers, turkey dogs, tons of grilled vegetables, fresh strawberries and cherries, salad, potatoe salad, grilled chicken breasts, it was just amazing. Tuesday, May 26th, 2009It seems like the flu has been going around over here in California, luckily not the swine flu as far as I know which is good. I was feeling a little under the weather today, I had a few members this weekend that were not feeling good too. Terminator Rocks!!
Thursday, May 21st, 2009I know that there are going to be some conflicting opinions about this diary and there will be some people that agree with me but Terminator kicks ass!!! I loved it so much and the 2 main actors in it are just so incredibly sexy!! It was a great movie and I so look forward to the next ones that get made in the series. Even though it was not directed and written by James Cameron, they still did a good job and I cant wait for it to come out on DVD. I loved that just because it was a completely different with new actors, directors, writers and so on they wanted to keep the same elements in it that we all know and love and that are so terribly corny! I just love the story and the terminators were so scary!!! I must say though that I wanted to see more of them, I hope that the next one is just filled with them but this one did have a lot. The makers did a great job of not releasing any info about the movie because I was shocked to see Arnold! Finals Week
Wednesday, May 20th, 2009Today was dedicated entirely to school for the most part. I had that huge paper to work on which is just about finished, it ended up being 10 pages long which is quite obnoxious! I still have some things to add to a couple of the pages and my bibliography but the majority of it is done, I will finish it tomorrow when I wake up. I will be so busy tomorrow, I have 2 of my finals this week and that huge paper due, I thought that I would have one of the finals next week but I was mistaken, it is a good thing that I checked. I also have family coming in this weekend that will be staying with me so I need to be sure to get everything done by Friday. I have quite a bit of quizzes to print out tomorrow, luckily it is not 80 pages worth of notes this time, there are only 60 pages I will have to run by the office supply store to have them printed, I finished all of my quizzes today, I am so proud of myself. It is at times like this that I wish I didnt procrastinate but actually it is pretty good in this situation because the quizzes are fresh in my memory so it should be easier taking my finals. Monday, May 18th, 2009Did the Earth move for you too? Im sure as everyone knows there was a big earthquake here in California last night and it was a pretty big one. I havent felt a big one like that in a while, actually there was a decent size one last year I believe but this felt bigger than that, maybe because the epicenter was pretty close to where I live. I am so used to earthquakes here that during the first few seconds of it I just sat there and worked on what I was doing but then there was a huge jolt and got up and ran to the doorway. It is so funny when I hear from people that live somewhere else and they talk about how much they hate earthquakes, California definately would not be the place for them to live because we have tons of them here. I forget just how jarring a decent size earthquake is and if the big one ever comes if will be quite scary because the one last night was small compared to the supposed big one. Saturday, May 16th, 2009School was so crazy this week so I was definately just looking forward to relaxing and getting off with my viewers. Wednesday, May 13th, 2009I am doing a very quick diary because I have to hurry up and eat dinner and then get back to my studies. I cant believe that the week is almost over and that I have one of my finals to do next week. I have been doing quizzes all day today, well actually I have been handling finances and battling it out with the credit card companies today. Monday, May 11th, 2009I had a lot of fun at Tat’s house this weekend and then a good drive home. Saturday, May 9th, 2009I came to Tat’s house this weekend and I was so excited to get to use Hitachi. Wednesday, May 6th, 2009I have told everyone about my insane hula hooping skills and I am going to gloat about it some more. I have been doing a hula hoop workout every single day. Yesterday I did the hula hoop for 40 minutes straight and then today I beat that with 50 minutes straight, the hula hoop did not fall once. Then I thought, I bet that I can do 2 hula hoops at the same time which was really hard because they are different weights so I have to rotate my hips differently for each and try to get them in sync. I could not believe that I did it! I can also walk while hula hooping and turn around in a circle, I have some crazy hula hooping skills. I should just run off and join the circus!! My abs are a bit sore from all of that hip rotation, it actually works out everything because it take leg muscle too to be able to do that and also there is weight on my arms for however long I do it because I have to keep them up above my head.
